Dickinson City Cemetery

Donate & Volunteer

The Dickinson City Cemetery has no perpetual-care fund. Mowing, edging, repairs and the slow work of rebuilding lost records are paid for by families and friends, and done largely by volunteers.

Give

Your gift goes to grounds care, marker repair and digitizing the burial records. A donation in memory of someone buried here is a lasting way to honor them.

Checks may be mailed to the Dickinson Historical Society, 218 FM 517 West, Dickinson, TX 77539. Please note “Cemetery” on the memo line.

Volunteer

  • Clean-up days — trimming, clearing debris and resetting fallen flowers.
  • Wreaths Across America — help lay wreaths on veterans’ graves each December.
  • Records & photos — photograph headstones and help transcribe burial records.

Share a family record

Not every gift is money. Obituaries, funeral cards, family Bible pages and old photographs help us identify the hundreds of graves that have no marker. We will scan your originals and return them.
